Ground Beef Sirloin Stroganoff

Ground Beef Sirloin Stroganoff

 

ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Asiago Prime RIb Dip Mix 
  • 1/2 cup diced onion 
  • 2 gloves garlic
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil  
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef sirloin or sirloin strips                                   
  • 2 can (14.5 oz.) beef broth
  • 2 Tbsp. butter                                                                      
  • 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups dry egg noodles

Instructions

  1. In a large pan or skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat. Add meat, onion, and garlic. Cook, stirring often, until evenly browned breaking it up as stirred.
  2. Drain excess fat and return pan to the stove.
  3. Add flour and paprika, cook 2 minutes, stirring to thoroughly blend with butter. Stir in Asiago Prime Rib (dry).
  4. Add sherry and beef broth, bring mixture to a boil. Stir until flour has
    dissolved and broth is thickened (about 2 minutes).
  5. Add egg noodles, and pepper. Reduce heat to simmer, cover the pan with a lid. Stir often until noodles are cooked for about 8 to 19 minutes
  6. Add mushrooms; cook 1 minute.
  7. Blend in sour cream stir top with chopped parsley
