Ground Beef Sirloin Stroganoff
ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Asiago Prime RIb Dip Mix
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 gloves garlic
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef sirloin or sirloin strips
- 2 can (14.5 oz.) beef broth
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 4 cups dry egg noodles
Instructions
- In a large pan or skillet, heat oil and butter over medium heat. Add meat, onion, and garlic. Cook, stirring often, until evenly browned breaking it up as stirred.
- Drain excess fat and return pan to the stove.
- Add flour and paprika, cook 2 minutes, stirring to thoroughly blend with butter. Stir in Asiago Prime Rib (dry).
- Add sherry and beef broth, bring mixture to a boil. Stir until flour has
dissolved and broth is thickened (about 2 minutes).
- Add egg noodles, and pepper. Reduce heat to simmer, cover the pan with a lid. Stir often until noodles are cooked for about 8 to 19 minutes
- Add mushrooms; cook 1 minute.
- Blend in sour cream stir top with chopped parsley
